Frequently Asked Questions
Hi, I’m Jenna — the videographer behind Minerva Media.
I create cinematic videos that celebrate movement — pole, aerial, and everything in between. My work blends artistry and storytelling, helping dancers and studios showcase their talent in a way that feels authentic, powerful, and impactful.
Whether you’re looking to elevate your studio’s presence or capture your personal growth as a performer, here’s everything you might want to know before booking:
Services & Booking
What types of services do you offer?
I specialize in video and photo shoots for pole and aerial dancers, event filming, and content creation for studios. This includes highlight reels, promotional videos, marketing photos, event recaps and personalized performance shoots. I direct, shoot and edit all of my content. I am absolutely open to all forms of the movement arts, so if you are interested in working with me, please reach out!
Who is your content best suited for?
Both studios and individual performers! Whether you’re promoting your classes, hosting a showcase, or just want to create a visual keepsake of your talent, I’ve got you covered. My video and photo shoots are for everybody, and I'm stoked to keep growing with every new client.
How do I book a shoot?
You can book directly through my "Book A Shoot" page and select from either my set shoot sessions hosted at a specific location, or book your own session at a location that you prefer. Once you select your date, you'll fill out my intake form so I can learn about your music, vibe, and vision so we can make your shoot feel authentic to you.
Do you travel for shoots?
Yes! I’m based in the Pacific Northwest and love collaborating with studios throughout Washington and Oregon (and beyond). Travel fees vary by distance. If you are outside of Washington or Oregon, let's still chat about options! I can also provide remote services such as: video editing, storyboarding, and other pre/post production tasks.
Deliverables & Editing
What’s included in a video or photo shoot?
Every shoot includes an intake form to learn about your vision and best prepare for the shoot, location scouting, color-corrected footage and a highlight edit (length depends on your package), or edited/retouched photos. High quality, final files are delivered digitally through WeTransfer, ready to share or promote on social media.
Can I request extra edits or specific cuts?
Definitely! Additional edits, reels, or alternate versions can be added for an extra fee — just let me know what you have in mind. Certain packages include feedback cycles for you to review the edits before finalizing without any extra fees. I'm happy to make changes or produce additional content for your needs.
How long will it take to receive my content?
Turnaround time depends on the project size, but most highlight videos and photos are delivered within 1–2 weeks. I’ll always communicate updates along the way. I aim to have event recap videos delivered within a week at max.
Pricing & Policies
How much does it cost?
Pricing varies based on shoot type and deliverables — solo shoots, events, and studio packages each have unique rates. You’ll always receive a clear quote before booking so there are no surprises. My "Packages & Pricing" page includes cost details and offerings, but these can be customized to needs.
Where does your pricing come from?
My pricing reflects the full creative and production process — pre-shoot planning, professional filming, post-production editing, and delivering files optimized for social media and studio promotion. It covers professional lighting and equipment, editing time, and the creative expertise that makes your content stand out. Every video and photo is crafted and tailored for each client. My experiences with working in corporate, entrepreneurship, and my undergrad studies all culminate into pricing that reflects skill, dedication, professionalism and creativity. I've been in the video/photo industry for over seven years.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your shoot, there may be a small fee to cover studio or travel costs. I totally get that life happens — just communicate with me as early as you can, and we’ll work it out.
Usage & Social Media
Do I own the footage?
Legally, I retain copyright as the creator, which simply means I can also share select clips in my portfolio or on social media (always with credit to you). You’re granted full usage rights for self-promotion, auditions, studio marketing, and social sharing. Use and share your content however you’d like for personal or promotional purposes.
I simply ask that the content not be resold, heavily re-edited, re-edited by third parties, or used in paid advertising without prior permission. This helps protect the integrity of the work and ensures it represents both of us in the best light.

Do I have to tag you on social media, YouTube, or on my website?
Tagging isn’t mandatory, but it’s always appreciated.
It helps potential clients and other studios see my work in action and also gives your video an extra visibility boost when I share it on my end. It’s a small gesture that supports local artists and keeps our creative circle thriving.

Think of it as a creative "tip" — never mandatory, but always helpful.
